What we have on this page is an example of the graphic design process.
This is a timeline of the stages the cover went through.
The first stage was after initial contact with the band where I was asked to just throw some ideas at the screen:
The first cover is heavily influenced by the cover of REM's Chronic Town EP, what with the gargoyle theme. I took the photograph in York. The second is a picture of the giant ferris wheel at Kirkcaldy Links Market. I maxed out the colours and painted the logo on to the image. The band liked the big wheel, but felt it was a bit too messy.
