What we have on this page is an example of the graphic design process.
This is a timeline of the stages the cover went through.

The fourth and final stage was after an immediate hugely positive reaction to the ferris wheel version:

At the band's request I removed the grid of headshots. It was immediately obvious that the cover now had a real sense of impact about it. The only decision now was where to place the logo.
I gave the band two options, as you can see. I can only agree with their choice that the logo above the wheel is the one that works best.
